How do I make my Epic game account full?
How do I know I need to upgrade my account to a full Epic Games account? When you first launch Fortnite on your console, you're given the option to start playing immediately or provide information to create a full Epic Games account.
This error message appears for one of the following reasons: The email you used to register your Epic Games account contained a sub-address. Note: A sub-address uses “+” or “.” characters to create more than one account on the same email address (i.e. john+123@gmail.com or j.ohn@gmail.com).
You need an Epic account to sign in to and play Fortnite on any platform. There are a variety of ways to create or link Epic accounts to various gaming platforms and services.
- Go to the Epic Games Store Free Games page.
- In the top-right, click Sign In and enter your details. If you don't have an account, it's free to create one.
- Click the game you want to add to your account.
- Click Get.

Locating your Epic Account ID on the web
Click on Sign-in in the top right corner. Sign into your Epic Games account. Hover over your Epic Games account name and click on Account. Your account ID is listed at the top of the Personal Details page.

You have to be at least 13 years old (or such other age, if greater, as may be required in your country of residence) to be eligible to participate. In addition, if you are between the ages of 13-17, you must have permission from your parent or legal guardian to do so.
