In the US, the ESRB gave Fortnite a Teen rating. This equates to those 13 years and older.
The age recommendation for Fortnite is 13 and up, but each child is different. The Entertainment Software Ratings Board rates Fortnite “T” for teen, which means ages 13 and up. Common Sense Media, an Understood founding partner, also recommends the game for kids 13 and up, because of its action violence and open chat.
Fortnite for kids: Best to wait until teen years
Learning to shoot and kill has become normalized in video games, but it's not something to take lightly. There are plenty of other games to play while your kids are still young children. But you can still learn the songs and dances together as a compromise.
You have to be at least 13 years old (or such other age, if greater, as may be required in your country of residence) to be eligible to participate. In addition, if you are between the ages of 13-17, you must have permission from your parent or legal guardian to do so.
Don't Buy or Share Accounts
Any actions committed on your account are your responsibility. Any bans received on your account as a result of sharing are your responsibility as the account owner. Buying and selling accounts is against our terms of service and will result in an account ban.
It is strictly mentioned that transferring of accounts is prohibited. "You may only access the Services through your own account. Users do not own their accounts, and gifting or otherwise transferring of accounts or access keys is prohibited."
